In the state of Texas, we Texans have the option of turning in:
1) a record of vaccination or
2) one of three vaccination exemptions:
a) personal belief, b) religious, c) medical or
3) documentation of having the actual disease or
4) titer test results showing immunity to the disease
Here is a page on 'Exemption Information - School Immunizations' on the Texas Health and Human Services website.
If your chid is entering college, you can also exempt them from the meningitis vaccine requirement .
One recommendation is that you research blockchain and data sharing companies similar to Greenlight Credentials prior to signing any data sharing agreements with your ISD, charter school, college, or employer. Once you have agreed to share your or your child's data, it will not be removed. It will be 'in the cloud', if you will, forever. The term used is 'Pre-K to Grey'. You need to understand that this can have implications.
